Abstract
EnergyPlus, which is the building energy simulation program developed by U.S. Department of Energy, has been hardly used in Japan mostly because of the language problem, though it has been used all over the world. The authors have been (developing Japanese comprehensive user interface in order for EnergyPlus to be useful for the energy simulation to Japanese HVAC engineers. The present paper shows the state of the developing interface, and shows the method of cooperation of the interface and Energy Design plugin, recently released, which is building geometry editor developed by National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
