Abstract
Everything is automated and systematic in this era of smart cities. But due to the rise of the population, it has become difficult to manage the waste properly since people dump garbage in their neighborhood. Dumping the garbage has become a real threat to society. This can pollute the environment and can cause several health hazards to the people living in the neighborhood. If the dustbin has excess waste it becomes difficult for the scavenger to manage the waste content. If the dustbin has no waste, time waste and petrol consumption occur since the scavenger has to travel unnecessarily. This research work proposes an IoT-based smart system how to manage waste efficiently. This system also helps reduce the consumption of fuel since the scavenger goes to pick up the waste only when needed. Hence this system aids in making the environment a better place to live.
