Abstract
The article focuses on the use of cyber warfare in the naval battlespace. It mentions that the absolute requirement for modern naval operations, networked computer and communications systems also present a vector for cyber-attack, possible through a compromised internet, sensor or communications node. Offensive cyber operations could also include the human factor, where a crew member unknowingly attempts to charge a compromised cell phone or laptop.
