Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 66-year-old white male presented with recurrent episodes of swelling of the lip and mouth over 1 month. It further reports that the Immunological studies revealed a deficiency of C1 esterase inhibitor protein (C1-INH) at 17 mg/dL and he began treatment with hydroxyurea (1,000 mg orally daily) and tolerated it well.
