Abstract
The article presents information on peas. Topics discussed include characteristics of this plant, number of pea-related foods that reached the shelves in 2018, uses of pea starch, funding in Canada for research into plant protein and plant-based products, the potential of peas in feeding the growing population and other plants awaiting research.
