Abstract
The article present a case study of a patient with persistent fever in a pediatric renal transplant. It mentions bone marrow biopsy showed presence of intracellular yeast forms along with rare histiocytes showing hemophagocytosis; and also mentions within 2 weeks of starting antimicrobial regimen, her fever and hematologic abnormalities resolved slowly.
