Abstract
The article focuses on the role of the calcium channel β3 subunit (CACNB3) in regulating Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) dependent migration of dendritic cells (DCs). Topics include the exclusive expression of CACNB3 in migratory DCs, its role in ATP-induced calcium release from the endoplasmic reticulum, and how CACNB3 regulates the suppression of adhesion molecules.
