Abstract
The article suggests ways on how LGBTQ teachers can support their LGBTQ colleagues truly thrive and feel a sense of belonging which are essential for their mental health in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ways of creating a more inclusive school community include connecting with colleagues, openly answer questions and controversial issues, and showing empathy by being caring.
