Abstract
The article presents a case study of ABO minor mismatched platelet transfusion in a 47-year-old man who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) for ischaemic heart disease. Laboratory investigations revealed a drop in his haemoglobin, and he developed anuric renal failure, requiring dialysis. During the transfusion, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was resuscitated.
