Abstract
The article presents a study to examines cost and benefits of patient recruitment and retention for bringing clinical research procedures of homecare by a medical profession. The study highlights benefits of homecare in healthcare setting include reduction in frequency of outpatient visits, quicker patient discharge and chronic-disease management. The study also looked at economic impact of treating patient in home compared to hospital outpatient setting.
