Cánovas del Castillo dice en su 'Estudio del reinado de Felipe IV'. - "Hice el hallazgo del original en la librería del convento de Capuchinos del Pardo, de donde ha desaparecido por los días de la revolución de 1868; y era un manuscrito de letra hermosísima, el mismo, por todas las señas, que remitió el autor a Felipe IV, dado que, según su dedicatoria, cada año, cumplía con el encargo de enviarle relación puntual de los sucesos que en los Países-Bajos acaecían"
En las "Variantes entre la Relaciónde Juan Antonio Vincart, y la de Cardinael" y Antonio Cánovas del Castillo añade: "copiada de un Mss. que exite en la Biblioteca Imperial de París, la cual posée el General Fernández de San Román"
Cánovas del Castillo says in his “Study of the Reign of Philip IV.” - “I made the discovery of the original in the bookshop of the convent of Capuchin del Pardo, from where it has disappeared in the days of the revolution of 1868; and it was a manuscript of beautiful letter, the same, by all the signs, that the author sent to Philip IV, given that, according to his dedication, every year, he fulfilled the order to send him a timely relation of the events that in the Lands-Low Actained.”
In the “Variants between the Relationship of Juan Antonio Vincart, and that of Cardinael” and Antonio Cánovas del Castillo adds: “copied from a Month that it exits in the Imperial Library of Paris, which posée the General Fernándezde San Román.”
