Abstract
Bei einer 46-jährigen Typ-I-Diabetikerin mit progredienter Polyneuropathiesymptomatik zeigen sich T2-hyperintense Myelonläsionen im MRT. Als Ursache stellt sich ein hochgradiger Vitamin-B12-Mangel aufgrund einer Resorptionsstörung im Rahmen einer Autoimmungastritis heraus. In a 46-year-old patient with type 1 diabetes and progressive polyneuropathy symptoms, T2 hyperintense myelin lesions were observed in the MRI. The cause was severe vitamin B12 deficiency as a result of resorption disturbances due to autoimmune gastritis.
