Abstract
The results of this prospective study demonstrate a correlation between the expression of multidrug resistance protein 1 (MRP1) in human lungs and clearance of inhaled technetium 99m-sestamibi; these results need testing in larger studies to explore the potential applicability of this technique to assess MRP1 expression in clinical practice.
