Abstract
Presents the findings of research into the 2021 Queen's Counsel (QC) appointments, highlighting the lack of diversity of the appointees and at the Bar in general. Includes data on the ethnicity of successful applicants between 2015-21, the ethnic and gender composition of the 2021 silks, and the ethnicity of QCs compared to the general working population. Talks to 10 successful applicants about their career paths.
