Abstract
Presents brief profiles of some of the barristers appointed to silk in 2020, covering their academic and legal career to date and key cases with which they have been involved. Discusses why the 2020 cohort of silks is still male dominated. Includes data on the breakdown of Queen's Counsel appointed between 2014 and 2020 by gender and ethnic background.
