Abstract
Explores competition regulators' stances with regard to algorithmic pricing, particularly given the possibility of artificial intelligence and pricing algorithms colluding to automatically fix prices, including the EU Competition Commissioner and the UK Competition and Markets Authority. Reviews the competition law concerns. Analyses the European Commission's views submitted to the OECD roundtable "Algorithms and Collusion", held in June 2017.
