La narració oral a les comarques de Castelló: Recopilació i anàlisi del Corpus de folklore narratiu

Abstract
Esta tesis doctoral es un estudio sobre la narración oral en las comarcas castellonenses. Se centra en el análisis de las manifestaciones artísticas de base verbal que produce la gente en el seno de estas comunidades. Destacan especialmente aquellas muestras que pertenecen al folklore narrativo: el cuento, la leyenda y el relato sobre experiencias reales. Por lo tanto, este estudio recoge y analiza diferentes expresiones de este arte verbal narrativo así como el contexto comunicativo en el que estas manifestaciones han tenido lugar. En consecuencia, el marco analítico de este trabajo se basa en las últimas aportaciones que se han realizado en el ámbito de los estudios etnopoéticos y de folklore. Desde finales del siglo XX, la recopilación y análisis del folklore narrativo ha experimentado un notable avance en el País Valenciano. Sin embargo, la publicación de colecciones de cuentos y de estudios monográficos, prácticamente no recoge materiales provinientes de las comarcas castellonenses. En efecto, hasta el momento, los materiales publicados son escasos. Es por ello que se trata de un ámbito que ofrece muchas posibilidades para la investigación.
This doctoral thesis is a study about storytelling in the region of Castelló. It is focused on th analysis of the artistic manifestations with a verbal base, that people produce in these communities. We would like to specially highlight those expressions that belong to the narrative folklore: the folktale, the legend and personal narrative. Therefore, this study analizes differents expressions of this verbal narrative art and also the communicative context in which those manifestations take place. Consequently, the analytic frame of this work is based on the last contributions, that have been made in the field of ethnopoetic studies and folklore. Since the end of th 20th Century, the collection and analysis of the narrative folklore has experienced a notable progress in the Valencian Region. However, the publication of folktales collections and monographic studies, practically does not include materials, that come from the area of Castelló. In fact, until now, the published materials are scarce. For that reason, it is a field that offers many possibilities for research.
