Brazilian, 20th century, male. Active from 1921 to 1957 active in France. Born 19 December 1899, in Recife; died 1970, in Recife. Painter, watercolourist, engraver, illustrator. Figure compositions, religious subjects, allegorical subjects, local figures, portraits. Vicente do Rego Monteiro travelled to France very young.
