Abstract
The effect of hydrogen peroxide on the contractile activity of smooth muscle of rat aorta. It is shown that hydrogen peroxide causes an additional increase in the mechanical stress of vascular segments, caused by membrane depolarization of smooth muscle cells hyperpotassium solution, but reduces the reduction induced phenylephrine. In the mechanisms of action of hydrogen peroxide on the phenylephrine-induced contraction of smooth muscles of aorta involved elements of the cytoskeleton.
