Abstract
Health screening is a useful tool in occupational health practice, but theoretical and practical issues bear consideration before beginning such screening for any group of workers. Legal requirements will vary from country to country and will influence what is provided. Proper communication with the workforce, employer, and occupational health and safety professionals is essential for implementing successful health screening programmes.
