Abstract
Spiders of Lerinioides cornutus removed water drops or dews on their orbwebs. In this study, we analyzed how the spider remove the dews on their orbwebs. The dew-removing behavior consists of three types. First the spiders attached the dews on their toes and then shook them out. Second, the spiders stripped off dews on radial thread with their toes. Finally they attached dews on their toes to the branches contacted to the orbweb frame.
