‘박통사’류 언해서의 언해문에 사용된 높임 표현을 살펴보면, 『번역박통사』에서 높임의 선어말어미, 어말어미, 조사, 접미사가 제대로 사용되었으나 『박통사언해』에서는 이들 형태의 사용이 현격하게 줄고 『박통사신석언해』에서는 거의 사용되지 않았다. 문장의 어순도 『번역박통사』에서는 원문을 우리말 어순에 따라 언해하였으나 『박통사언해』와 『박통사신석언해』에서는 원문의 상태로 바뀌어 다소 어색한 예들이 적지 않다. 그리고 『박통사언해』와 『박통사신석언해』에서는 한어 원문에 사용된 단어, 짧은 구절이나 문장을 언해문에 가져와 한자로 표기하여 원문에 사용된 단어임을 표시하였다. 이러한 제반 특징들은 『박통사언해』, 『박통사신석언해』에서 진행된 중국어 교재의 체계화 과정을 보여주는 것으로서, 이들 교재에 사용된 언어 자료를 국어사 자료로 활용할 때에는 보다 신중을 기해야 할 것이다.
The form of honorific expression that was properly used in Beonnyeok Pagtongsa was significantly reduced in Pagtongsa Eonhae and was rarely used in Pagtongsa Sinseog Eonhae in the Eonhaemun of ‘Baktongsa’ Eonhaeseo. Word order of sentences in Beonnyeok Pagtongsa the original Chinese text was interpreted according to the Korean word order. However, in Pagtongsa Eonhae and Pagtongsa Sinseog Eonhae, there were a number of examples in which the word order of indirect and direct objects, the use of propositions, the position of adverbs, number-related forms, and the word order of unit nouns were changed to the state of the original Chinese text. In addition, a large number of words written in Chinese characters from Pagtongsa Eonhae and Pagtongsa Sinseog Eonhae were taken and used in eonhaemun, and all these words were written in Chinese characters to indicate that they were from the original Chinese text. Thus, it was understood that the words written in Chinese characters in eonhaemun performed the function of displaying the learning contents and methods to be learned before learning Chinese sentences.
