Abstract
본 연구는 미국의 음악교사자격시험의 분석을 통해 내용면에서의 구성요소를 파악하고 향후 한국의 음악교원자격기준 및 자격시험 개선에 시사점을 제공하는데 주목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 우선적으로 한국 음악교원양성체제와 음악교원임용시영을 간략하게 소개한 후, 미국의 음악교원양성체제와 음악교원자격시험을 비교·분석하였다. 미국의 50개주의 음악교원자격시험을 분류한 결과 크게 대부분의 주 (stale)에서는 국가 수중의 공통적인 음악교사자격시험을 프락시스(Praxis) Ⅱ음악교과영가를 채택하고 있었으며, 애리조나를 포함한 10개주 (애리죠나, 캘리포니아 콜로라도 조지아, 일리노이, 미시건, 뉴멕시코 뉴욕, 오리건, 텍사스 주)에서는 프락시스 Ⅱ 음악교과평가와 대등한 음악교사자격시험을 요구하였다. 이에 띠라 프락시스 Ⅱ 음악교과영가와 주에서 요구하는 대등한 음악교사자격시험의 구성요소를 비교 운석 하였으며, 이률 바탕으로 한국 음악교원임용고시의 개선 방안을 청각능력을 검증할 수 있는 내용의 포함, 연주능력을 검증할 수 있는 내용 및 평가기준의 제시, 음악교원자격시험을 치기 위한 예비교사의 자격요건 강화의 필요성을 개선방안으로 제시하였다.
The main purpose of tile study is to review and analyze music teacher`s certification examination in Korea. and the U.S. Based on the result of the analysis, suggestions in Korean music teacher`s certification will be: foil wed. Finally, this study will support the development of the music teacher`s cerfication examination in Korea. For this purpose, music teacher certification systems in both Korea and the US were examined. And the comparison and analysis for music teacher`s certification examinations in the US was follewed. As a result of this analysis, among 5Ostates in the U.S, 10 states including Arizona, California, Corilado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Mexico, New Yorkm Oregon, Texas were selected the music teacher`s certification examination developed by each state. Except 10 states, all states choose the Praxis II music subject test as the tool for music teacher`s profession. As a result of this study, the component of the music teacher`s certification in the U.S were generally devided to 5 parts: listening skills, music theory, music performance, music history and culture, music education, even if the components and the ways of the selection had the slight differences. Based on the analysis and the result, three plans for aural ability were suggested for improving music teacher`s certification examination in Korea. First of all the contents for examination of the aural ability has to be included to the music teacher`s certification examination. Secondly the contents for examination of the performance ability and the criteria for the performance evaluation has to be suggested. Finally, the reinforcement of the qualification of the music teacher is needed in music teacher`s certification system.
