Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 다문화청소년이 지각하는 진로장벽과 진로태도의 관계에서 사회적 위축과 성취동기의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 한국청소년정책연구원의 2018년도 다문화청소년패널조사의 자료를 활용하여 총 1,197명(남학생 587명, 여학생 610명)의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석도구는 SPSS 22.0과 PROCESS macro 3.5를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화청소년이 진로장벽은 사회적 위축과 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 다문화청소년의 진로장벽이 높을수록 사회적 위축이 높음을 의미한다. 다문화청소년이 지각하는 진로장벽은 성취동기 및 진로태도와의 관계가 부적 상관으로 나타났다. 이는 다문화청소년의 진로장벽이 높을수록 성취동기와 진로태도는 낮다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 다문화청소년의 진로장벽과 진로태도의 관계에서 사회적 위축과 성취동기가 두 변인 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 다문화청소년이 지각한 진로장벽이 진로태도에 미치는 직접효과와 사회적 위축과 성취동기에 의한 간접효과를 동시에 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of social withdrawal, achievement motivation on the career barriers and career attitude of multi-cultural adolescents. A total of 1,197 multi-cultural adolescents are surveyed in MAPS(Multicutural Adolescents Panel Study). The results of the study were as follows. First, career barriers was positively correlated with social withdrawal. Career barriers was negatively correlated with achievement motivation and career attitude. The variables that have a significant impact on the career attitudes of multi-cultural adolescents are career barriers, achievement motivations and social withdrawal. Second, achievement motivations were mediated the relation between career barriers and career attitudes. Social withdrawal was also mediated the relation between career barriers and career attitude. Finally, implications and limitations of the study with suggestions for the further research were discussed.
