단편영화 <아벨라> 제작보고서 : 연출을 중심으로 / A Production Report on the Short Film

Abstract
본 연구 논문은 2013년 11월부터 2014년 2월까지 제작된 단편영화 에 대한 제작 보고서이다. 단편영화 는 끝난 줄 알았던 인연이 부메랑이 되어 자신의 인생에 되돌아온다는 이야기로 남자 주인공 영기가 오래 전 헤어진 애인 선영과 함께 탔던 차 ‘아벨라’를 우연히 길에서 발견하고 그 뒤를 쫓아가는 이야기이다. 본 연구는 작품이 나오게 된 기획 배경부터 시작해서 시나리오를 만들어 가는 과정, 프리 프로덕션, 프로덕션, 포스트 프로덕션에 과정까지 세부적인 구성에 대해서 기술함으로서 필자가 의도한 장면을 어떻게 촬영 했는지 기술 하였다. 그리고 제작 전반에 관해서 필자가 선택하고 결정하고 실수한 부분들을 자세히 기술하여 앞으로의 영화 작업에 반영하고자 하였다.또한 필자와 유사한 단편영화를 제작하고자 하는 이들에게 도움이 되고자 하는 마음을 담아 작성되었다.
This paper is a production report of the short film produced from November 2013 to February 2014. The short film is about a story of the relationship once connected could have an effect on one’s life like boomerang does, even though it looks like ended. One day Young-ki witnessed somebody’s miserable suicide. If he didn’t have a relationship with Sun-young, he won’t follow the Avella and he won’t witnessed. The paper examines the overall process of film-making from planning to screenplay, pre-production and post-production to elaborate on the author’s mise-en-scene philosophy and techniques. It also describes the trials and errors of the author experienced during the overall production, providing future reflections for the author. Moreover, this paper was written with a hope of helping and making a difference in many others who plan to make a short film similar to that of the author.
