Abstract
This study was conducted between January 2019 and March 2019 to identify psychological factors influencing the pain of surgical patients with laparoscopic hysterectomy and adnexectomy. For the study, 60 subjects between the age of 35 and 59, who had laparoscopic hysterectomy and adnexectomy at S general hospital in D area, were selected. We conducted the frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent two sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The analysis results are as follows.First, as for the age, the patients between the age of 40 and 44 showed the highest percentage (40.0%). The patients between the age of 45 and 49 were 28.3% and the patients between the age of 50 and 59 were 21.7%. The patients between the age of 35 and 39 showed the lowest percentage (10%).Second, as for the self-esteem, the patients who answered “No” for the question, “I have a positive attitude towards myself.”, had the highest pain score all the time after surgery (average of 5.50).
