After the 2008 financial crisis, the international trade environment deteriorated, and countries are paying more and more attention to stimulating their own economies by establishing Free Trade Area with other countries or regions. As of the beginning of 2018, there were 24 free trade zones under construction and construction in China. Among them, the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement was officially signed in June 2015. It covers the most comprehensive range of trades and involves the most value of the trade. Based on SWOT, the article analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges faced by China and Korea in establishing a Free Trade Area. This is analyzed from two perspectives: China and Korea. The advantages established by the China-Korea Free Trade Area are concentrated in the expansion of bilateral trade and economic complementarity; the disadvantages are reflected in the imbalance of bilateral economic development, increased trade frictions and complex political security situations. Therefore, China and Korea should firmly seize the opportunities of China's accession to the WTO, the arrival of the information age, and the trend of economic integration, and actively respond to the challenges of trade imbalances and market competition in other economies. Then, how much influence will China-Korea Free Trade Area bring to China-Korea trade? How much impact will China-Korea Free Trade Area bring to Shandong Province? How will Shandong Province respond to the opportunities and challenges brought by China-Korea Free Trade Area? How much impact will China-Korea Free Trade Area bring to Qingdao City? How will Qingdao City respond to the opportunities and challenges brought by the China-Korea Free Trade Area? China and Korea have always been friendly neighbors, which have provided good conditions for the development of China-Korea trade. At present, the complementarity of the two countries at different stages of development and industrial structure has provided certain inevitability and reality for the economic and trade cooperation. In the later period of the financial crisis, with the changes in the trade environment and terms of trade between the two countries, China and Korea continued to strengthen and deepen cooperation in the economic and trade field. Through research and analysis of China, Shandong Province and Qingdao City, the three levels of trade status and investment status, pointed out the impact of China-Korea Free Trade Area on the two countries, and reached the establishment of China-Korea Free Trade Area to deepen China-Korea trade, Promoting bilateral trade growth has a positive effect. But at the same time, it has different negative effects on China, Shandong Province, and Qingdao City. For example, Shandong Province is in a trade deficit in most years. At the same time, there are many tariff and non-tariff barriers in Korea, Especially in agricultural products with comparative advantages in Shandong Province. The China-Korea Free Trade Area has brought opportunities to Shandong Province. Shandong Province can take advantage of geographical advantages to take the lead in economic cooperation with Korea, accelerate the optimization of the province's industrial structure, and expand Shandong's openness. The challenge is to impact the electro mechanical industry and weaken the geographical advantage of Shandong Province. Finally, in order to further deepen the cooperation between China and Korea, suggestions were made from three levels: China, Shandong Province, and Qingdao City.
