시각디자인은 다원주의적으로 발전하고 있다. 디자이너들은 여러 분야의 기술을 활용하여 창조하는 목적을 달성하고 있다. 선은 예술과 디자인의 표현에서 가장 기본적이며 중요한 원소이며 무한한 가능성을 가지게 된다.고대(古代)의 기호부터 여러 예술품까지,선은 탁월한 조형적 표현력을 가지고 있는 것을 증명할 수 있다. 선은 평면에 입체감을 부가할 수 있고 3차원 표현력도 지니고 있다.추상적인 선과 달리 스트링은 선의 구상화 형태이며, 수공예와 예술 분야에서 끊임없이 발전해 오고 있다.본 논문에서 스트링의 발전 형식에 따라 선의 시각화 표현을 연구하였다. 선의 예술성과 시각적 다양성을 표현하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 선의 개념과 특성 등 이론적 배경을 조사하고 관련된 사례 분석을 통해서 시각화 표현의 중요한 요소와 디자인 방법을 탐구한다. 작품은 다음 세 가지 방법으로 진행하려고 한다. 첫째, 수공 기법을 활용한 시각화 표현이다. 둘째, 포스터 등 그래픽 형식으로 시각화한다. 셋째, 영상으로 시각화를 표현한다.선의 일반적인 형태는 직선과 곡선이다. 다양한 디자인 방법을 통하여 시각 작품에 충분히응용할 수 있다.선의 구성과 규칙성은 시각화 표현의 주요한 요점 중 하나이다.본 작품의 제작 규범이라고도 할 수 있다. 스트링은 수공예와 예술 영역에서,여러 표현 형식으로 사람들 앞에 나타난다. 수공예 분야에서, 스트링은 편직과 자수에 잘 활용된다. 편직은 일상 생활의 기본적 요구에서 기원하였지만 오히려 독특한 예술적 매력을 가지고 있다.예술 영역에서,스트링 아트(String Art)의 사례를 통해 선의 다양한 예술 표현 형식을 보일 수 있다. 이러한 여러 표현 방법은 그래픽,입체 그리고 설치미술 세 가지 영역으로 전개할 수 있다.작품진행 과정중에 색채, 재질, 구성 등 중요한 표현 요소를 활용하여 선의 특성과 원리를 통해 본 연구의 디자인 방법론을 다음과 같이 크게 세 가지 부분으로 종결할 수 있다：‘점의선택’,‘선의궤적’,‘선의착시’. 이들은 선의 입체감, 공간감, 착시 등의 효과를 나타내 준다.시각화 표현의 과정중에서,선에 대하여 재인식할 수 있으며, 선의 독특한 미감도 발굴할 수 있다.또한 여러 제작 방법을 결합하여 선의 시각적 매력을 확연하게 드러낼 수 있다.
Visual communication design is undergoing the process of diversified development, designers make full use of technologies in all areas so as to achieve the purpose of innovation. In the field of art and design, as the most basic and most important element in the artistic performance, line has unlimited creative possibilities.From the ancient marks to all kinds of works of art of present, it can fully prove that line has excellent modeling performance, and through the works, line can manifests abstract content such as emotions. Line can add stereoscopic impression to the plane, namely the 3D expressive force. While as the representational form of line, string continuously develops in the art and handicraft industry.According to the development form of string in all areas, this paper conducts research to the visual performance of line so as to display the artistry and visual diversity of line. Through the understanding of concepts and features theoretical background of line and the analysis of relevant cases, this paper explores important factors and design methods of visualization performance. The expression methods of the work are including three forms. First, the visual performance using flexible manual techniques ; Second, posters and other graphic design forms to realize visual performance; Third, the use of images and other visual expression methods.The general form of line is divided into two major categories: straight line and curve. It can be made use to the visual design works through diversification of design method. The structure of the line and regularity are one of the highlights of visual representation, and it is also the creation rules of this work.In the field of art and industry, the string was displayed in various forms in front of people. In the industrial sectors, the string is made use in weaving and embroidery. Knitting originated in the basic needs of people's life, but has a unique artistic charm.In the realm of art, we can see all kinds of artistic expression of the line through related works of string art. The technique of expression can be expanded from three aspects: graphic design, three-dimensional and installation art.In the process of the work, it made full use of the color, material, composition, and other important elements, and summarizes the design methodology of this study according to the characteristics and principle of line. The work is divided into three parts, namely, the choice of dot, the track of line and optical illusion of line which reveals the stereotype impression, sense of space, optical illusion, etc.In the process of visual performance, we can re-perceive the line, excavate the unique aesthetic feeling of line, and clearly manifest the visual appeal of line through the combination of different production methods.
