ABSTRACTStudy on teaching methods map measures of MIDI use for music teachers -focusing on chapters of instrumental music in music textbooks at middle school-Chae, Sun JungMajor in Music EducationGraduate School of EducationGachon University When you look at those chapters on instrumental music in music textbooks at middleㆍhigh school, you find so many musical instruments to be learned with explanations on how to play those instruments included. However, it is hard for most of music teachers, who are supposed to directly deliver all those contents to learners, to deal with more than two of those musical instruments in the textbooks only fluently. Not only that, while a few of schools have become fortunate enough to be equipped with the instruments depending on their circumstances, many of the rest do not have any of the instruments at all. With this computer music which is also known as MIDI music, you can express all those notes described in score very much freely and extremely delicately. As long as you have an ability to handle a computer, you can work on this MIDI music with no problems. Teachers can offer chance for students to learn each sound of many instruments easier, and can operate more effective music class through MIDI music of computer because it is difficult to play many instruments actually. In order to achieve the research goal, the study reviewed relevant references and other theses and adopted the frequently-used Cubase program to proceed with the work. The researcher studied Cubase use for effective instrumental music class, and planned third study guidance plan with MIDI in real school so applied this plan in the study. Although there are many positive aspects in progress of class with MIDI, real teachers feel uncomfortable using new program as much as learning new instruments and have several difficulties by busy daily tasks such as heavy workload and student guidance, and individual life outside of school. Therefore, the researcher suggested methods that can be used fully in class time, although teachers do not take time out of their busy schedule. Since MIDI music can be applied not only to instrumental music but also to any other music fields from appreciation to singing and composition, music teachers will be able to efficiently use this MIDI music in other fields after the students get used to MIDI music.
국 문 초 록음악교사를 위한 미디 활용 교수법 지도 방안 연구-중학교 음악교과서 기악부분을 중심으로-채 선 중가천대학교 교육대학원 음악교육전공지도교수 김영숙 현재 중ㆍ고등학교 음악수업 중 기악 부분에서는 많은 악기들이 나오고 그에 따른 연주에 대한 설명들이 나오지만 그 내용들을 직접 전달해줄 대부분의 음악 교사들이 두 개 이상의 악기를 능수능란하게 다루기란 쉽지 않다. 또한 각 학교의 여건에 따라 악기가 구비되어 있는 곳이 있는 가 반면에 없는 악기들도 많이 있다. 미디(MIDI)음악 이라 불리어 지는 컴퓨터 음악에서는 악보에 표기 되어있는 음표들을 표현 하는 것이 굉장히 자유롭고 매우 섬세하게 다룰 수 있으며 그것을 조작하는데 있어서는 컴퓨터를 다룰 수 있는 능력만 있다면 충분히 이루어 낼 수 있다. 교사들은 각종 수많은 악기들의 소리를 컴퓨터의 미디음악을 통해 좀 더 쉽게 학생들에게 접해 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있고 많은 악기들을 실제로 연주하기엔 어려움이 많기 때문에 미디(MIDI) 사용을 통해 더욱 효율적인 음악수업운영에 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 관련된 문헌과 연구 논문들을 조사하였고 많이 쓰이는 Cubase 프로그램을 사용하여 본 연구를 진행 하였다. 효과적인 기악 수업을 위한 Cubase 사용을 연구하였고 실제 학교수업에서 MIDI를 활용한 3차시 학습지도안을 계획하여 연구에 적용해 보았다. 미디를 활용한 수업의 진행에는 많은 긍정적인 측면이 있음에도 불구하고 실제 교사들에게는 새로운 프로그램을 다루는 것이 새로운 악기를 배우는 것만큼이나 부담으로 다가올 수 있고 많은 업무량과 학생 지도 등 바쁜 일과, 그리고 학교 외의 각자의 삶에 치여 여러 어려움이 있다는 것을 알고 바쁜 시간을 쪼개어 더 투자하지 않더라도 수업시간에 충분히 이용할 수 있는 방법들을 제시하였다. 미디음악은 기악뿐만 아니라 감상, 가창, 창작 등 모든 음악 분야에서 활용이 가능하기 때문에 학생들이 미디를 알게 된 이후로는 다른 부분에서도 효율적인 교육이 이루어 질 수 있을 것이다.
