Abstract
현대 사회에서 기업 경영을 위해 디자인 경영은 필수 조건이 되어가고 있다. 노벨 경제학상을 수상한 허버트 사이몬 교수는 “모든 조직이나 사람들이 혁신을 내걸고 모든 것을 바꾸지만 결국 차별화가 없다. 따라서 가장 주목을 끄는 것이 바로 디자인 혁신이다”라고 말하는 것처럼 디자인은 기업에게 매우 중요한 요소이며 디자인 경영의 역할과 중요성이 대두되고 있는 상황이다.시대의 변화에 따라 디자인 경영은 현재 대한민국에서도 많은 기업들이 도입하고 있다. 그렇지만 디자인 경영의 연구와 도입은 서양으로부터 시작되었고 그와 비교해 아시아 디자인 경영에 관한 논의와 연구는 아직 미비하다고 볼 수 있다. 과거 우리는 여느 타 문화의 맹목적인 받아들임과 비슷한 방식으로 서양 디자인 경영을 그대로 받아 들여 적용시켰다. 이러한 준비 없는 서양 디자인 경영의 도입은 우리에게 많은 시행착오를 겪게 하였다. 그렇기 때문에 이러한 과오를 딛고 서양을 뛰어넘는 아시아의 디자인 경쟁력의 발전과 미래를 위해서는 지금부터라도 문화와 역사를 함께 고려한 아시아 디자인 경영의 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문의 주요 연구 과제는 아시아 디자인 경영에 기초가 될 수 있는 한국 디자인 경영 성공요소의 연구분석을 통한 중국 디자인 경영도입 방안이다.연구결론의 기대와 목적은 크게 세가지 부분으로 이야기 할 수 있다. 첫째 한국과 중국의 경쟁과 협력을 통한 아시아 디자인의 발전과 미래에 대한 방향을 제시하였다. 두 번째 중국의 디자인 산업을 한국 기업과 디자이너들이 선점함에 따른 기회 및 이점에 대해 논의했다.셋째 디자인 경영에 대한 중요성과 역할에 대한 이해와 한국과 중국 디자인 경영의 명확한 현재 위치에 대해 알아 보았다.본 논문은 총 6장으로 구성되어 있다. 1장과 2장에서는 디자인 경영에 대한 이론 확립 및 정의 구축을 진행하였다. 이를 토대로 3장에서는 한국형 디자인 경영 모델에 대한 분석을 하였다. 본 논문은 디자인경영을 도입하고 좋은 성과를 내고 있는 한국의 10개 기업 - 대기업 (Samsung, LG, Hyundaicard, KT, KIA), 중소기업(Anex, Henssem, Morning Glory, Design House, Doota)의 조사를 통해 한국형 디자인경영 모델과 성공요소들을 분석하였다. 4장에서는 한국형 디자인 경영 모델을 중국에 성공적으로 도입하기 위해 중국의 문화, 역사를 중요한 요소로 고려하고 연구하여 중국 디자인 경영 도입방안 모델을 도출 하였다. 5장에서는 중국 디자인 경영 도입방안을 베이징-레노버(Lenovo)사를 중심으로 진행하였다. 본 논문의 결론에서 볼 수 있듯이 앞으로의 중국의 디자인 경영 도입 방안은 중국의 모든 지역을 포함해 포괄적인 범위에서 연구 해야 한다.더불어 디자인 경영의 유효성은 기업내의 디자인 경영 시스템뿐만 아니라 다양한 외부적 요소들의 영향을 받는다. 이상적인 디자인 경영의 발전을 위해서는 디자인 경영을 위한 생태계 구축(나라, 기업, 소비자)의 노력이 필요하다.본 연구가 한국 디자이너들과 기업들에게 중국의 디자인과 디자인경영에 대한 체계적인 이해와 객관적인 시각을 제공하는데 기여하길 바란다.
In modern society, design management becomes an essential condition for corporate management. A professor, Herbert Simon winning the Nobel Prize in Economic Science, “All of organizations or people change all of things with innovation, but there is no differentiation finally. Therefore, what is drawing attention the mostly is design innovation”. Thus, design is very important for enterprises and roles and importance of design management are focused. According to the periodical background, design management is currently introduced by lots of enterprises in Korea. But, studies and introduction of design management started from the West and discussion, but studies of Asian design management are still insufficient. We accepted and applied design management of the West by the method same as the acceptance of other cultures. The acceptance without any preparation gave me lots of trials and errors. However, it’s necessary to study on Asian design management considering culture and history from now on for the development and future of Asian design’s competitiveness beyond the West by enduring those errors. Main task of this research is a measure to introduce Chinese design management through the successful factors of Korean design management which can be a foundation of Asian design management. Expectation and purposes of research’s conclusions can be mentioned by three parts greatly. First, it suggested the direction of development and future of Asian design through the competition and cooperation of Korea and China. Second, it discussed about opportunities and benefits by preoccupancy of Korean enterprises and designers on Chinese design industry. Third, it examined understanding of importance and roles of design management and accurately current position of Korean and Chinese design management. This thesis is organized by total 6 chapters. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 established theory and definition of design management. Based on them, chapter 3 analyzed models of Korean design management. This thesis analyzed Korean model of design management and successful factors through the investigation of 10 Korean companies introducing design management and showing good results - big-sized companies (Samsung, LG, Hyundaicard, KT, KIA) and medium-sized companies(Anex, Henssem, Morning Glory, Design House, Doota). Chapter 4 considered and introduced Chinese culture and history as important factors and drew a model of introducing China design management so as to introduce a model of Korean design management to China successfully. Chapter 5 progressed a measure to introduce China design management in detail by focusing on a measure to introduce Beijing-Lenovo. As seen in conclusion of this thesis, a measure of introducing Chinese design management must be studied in comprehensive range including all of Chinese areas. In addition, design management is influenced by not only design management system in company but also various external factors. For ideal development of design management, it’s necessary to make efforts to establish ecosystem (country, company and consumers) for design management. This research should contribute to provision of systematic understanding and objective perspective for Chinese design and design management to Korean designers and companies.
