Abstract
We have developed a prototype named PNU RICH2 for CBM experiment. In order to find out optimized beam condition, we have test experiments at Test Linac in PLS (Pohang Light Source) with MWPC (Multi-Wired Proportional Chamber). Also we performed a optical test to check the performance of MAPMT (Multi-Anode Photo Multiplier Tube) and mirror alignment using LED light source. For the PNU RICH2 gas system, we installed a gas control system with PVSS which is control software tool adapted from CERN. For another monitoring and control of complicated detector system in large scale experiments, CBM (Compressed Baryonic Matter) at GSI is now designing the detector control system using the EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System). For CBM RICH prototype experiment the mirror positioning control system and the high voltage control system with EPICS has been programmed.
