Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate perceptions of music teachers based on learners' level about the songs in music textbook on the revised basic curriculum for special education in 2008. The researcher intend the result of this study to help select songs for music textbook and suggest developmental direction on method and/or consideration on teaching songs for the students with intellectual disabilities. The factors related to learn song in textbook for the students with intellectual disabilities were divided into 6 that is appropriacy of interests/pleasure and motivation, appropriacy of register, appropriacy on length of song, appropriacy of word understanding, appropriacy of tonality, appropriacy on functional living. The results of survey showed that music textbook 1 was got the most positive perception on all 6 factors than other two music textbook. The music teachers gave some suggestions for choice the songs that will be in textbook. They are the songs related to season and event, considered chronological age of students, appropriateness to curriculum, well-known songs and melody, can be used in actual living, the songs with repetitive words/ rhythm/ melody, etc.
본 연구는 2008 개정 기본교육과정 음악 1, 음악 2, 음악 3에 수록된 제재곡에 대해 학습자의 가창 학습활동 요인을 고려한 정도를 음악 교사들이 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 조사하여 지적장애학생들을 위한 제재곡 선정과 가창 지도에 도움이 되도록 하는 데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구 결과 흥미/즐거움/동기 유발의 적절성, 음역의 적절성, 곡 길이의 적절성, 가사 이해 수준의 적절성, 조성의 적절성, 생활 기능 학습과의 적절성에 대한 6개 요인에서 음악 1에 수록된 제재곡이 가장 좋은 인식을 받았으며 음악 2의 제재곡이 가장 낮은 인식을 받았다. 제재곡 선정 시 고려되어야 할 요소로서 제안된 내용은 계절/행사와의 적절성, 생활 연령의 고려, 교육과정과의 적절성, 잘 알려진 곡이나 선율, 일상생활에 활용할 수 있는 곡, 다양한 장르의 곡들이었다.
