Abstract
본 연구는 점점 늘어나는 다문화 가정에서 자란 장애아동이 다니는 학교 사회복지 현장에서 통합교육을 지원하는 어머니들의 경험을 분석하고자 한다. 연구 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 가정 장애아동을 둔 어머니들의 통합교육 지원 경험을 바탕으로 ‘자녀의 학교생활 서비스의 불편한 점’은 각각 무엇인가? 둘째, 다문화 가정 장애아동을 둔 어머니들의 통합교육 지원 경험을 바탕으로 ‘자녀의 학교생활 서비스의 기대’는 각각 무엇인가? 연구 방법은 초등학교 학령기 장애아동을 둔 다문화 가정의 어머니로서 한국어 소통 능력이 있는 사람 5명 목소리를 통해서 ‘다문화 장애아동의 통합교육 경험’에 대한 심층적 정보를 얻을 수 있는 질적 사례연구 방법으로 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. ‘학교에 불편한 점’은 ‘언어교육의 부족’과 ‘지원 연계 시스템의 부족’ 그리고 ‘한국 교육에 대한 불신’이었으며, ‘학교에 기대하는 점’은 ‘한국어 교육 강화, 특수교사의 다문화 특수역량, 수준별 교육, 지원 연계 시스템와 대안적 평가시스템 구축 그리고 직업교육의 강화’ 등이 있다. 본 연구를 통해서 다문화 가정에서 자란 장애아동을 위한 학교 사회복지 차원에서의 교육적 지원과 그밖에 효율적이고 실제적인 정책의 방향과 적용에 대한 시사점을 찾을 것으로 기대한다.
This study aims to analyze the experiences of parents who support inclusive education at school social welfare sites where children with disabilities who grow up in an increasing number of multicultural families attend. The research questions are as follows. What is the inconvenience of mothers with children with disabilities from multicultural families to their children's school life services? Second, what is the expectation of a mother with a disabled child from a multicultural family for her child's school life service? The research method was conducted as a qualitative case study method that can obtain in-depth information on the "inclusive education experience of children with multicultural disabilities" through the voices of five people with fluent Korean as mothers of children with elementary school-age disabilities. The "lack of language education," "lack of support linkage system," and "mistrust of Korean education" were "strengthening Korean language education, multicultural special competencies of special teachers, level-specific education, support linkage system and alternative evaluation system, and vocational education."Through this study, it is expected to find implications for educational support at the level of school social welfare for children with disabilities raised in multicultural families and the direction and application of other efficient and practical policies.
