Abstract
Research shows that the beta-D-endoglucuronidase, heparanase, belongs to the clan A glycosylhydrolases and exhibit two conserved acidic residues, Glu225 and Glu343 at the active-site. The residues act as a proton donor and a nucleophile, respectively.
