Abstract
Shorter thrombolytic door-to-needle times may be associated with lower all-cause mortality and lower all-cause readmission at 1 year. In 61,426 patients with acute ischemic stroke, door-to-needle times within 90 minutes after hospital arrival were associated with a hazard ratio of 1.04 per 15-minute increase in time. Regarding readmission, the hazard ratio per 15-minute increase in time was 1.02.
