Abstract
Statin therapy may have a significant association with a lower risk of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality among US veterans 75 years and older without atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease at baseline. In 326,981 participants, the hazard ratios for statin use and no-statin use were 0.75 and 0.80, respectively.
