Abstract
The errors which arise in the quadrature method of measuring attenuation and phase shift due to the inaccurate determination of the quadratures are analyzed. Methods of estimating the errors and of correcting them are proposed. Key words: signal attenuation, phase shift, quadrature, orthonormalized and real bases, correction.
