Abstract
The article discusses about a study that is conducted to assess the association of the use of [beta]-blockers with cardiovascular events in stable outpatients with or without coronary artery disease (CAD). The results of the study show that, in the various classes of patients studied, the use of [beta]-blockers is not associated with a lower risk of composite cardiovascular events.
