Abstract
Measurements of the carbon 1s photoelectron spectrum of ethane, C2H6, are taken at photon energy of 329 eV and an instrumental resolution of 70 meV. Findings reveal a small splitting about 10-20 meV for the (super 2) A (sub 2u) and (super 2) A (sub 1g) core-ionized states.
