Abstract
World of RNA. In last 10-15 years RNA molecules has emerged as stars on the cell biology sky. They participate and regulate almost every step in the gene expression pathway. The role of RNA begins with regulation via catalysis of RNA splicing and translation and finishes with RNA degradation. In addition, small variations in RNA processing can result in dramatic changes in the phenotype and might explain differences between organisms with very similar genomes.
