Abstract
This study conducted an online survey of Chinese who have visited Hainan Duty-Free Shops in China, to determine the relationship between shopping attributes, shopping value, shopping satisfaction, and recommendation intention among visitors of Hainan Duty-Free Shops. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed, and after excluding insincere respondents, a total of 229 questionnaires were collected and used for statistical analysis. The analysis results are as follows. Among the five factors of shopping selection attributes (product, price, atmosphere, accessibility, service), 2 factors (accessibility, service) were found to have a positive (+) effect on shopping value and shopping satisfaction, and shopping value has a positive (+) effect on shopping satisfaction. Lastly, it was verified that shopping value and customer satisfaction have a positive(+) influence on recommendation intention. Based on these research results, this study was able to provide meaningful data for establishing specific marketing strategies that can revitalize the duty-free industry similar to Hainan duty-free shops.
