[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to determine the priority of golf caddy competency units and competency unit elements presented by the National Competency Standards (NCS), to provide useful information for overall golf development, and to provide basic data for training and professionalism. [Method] Based on the golf caddy competency unit presented by the National Competency Standards (NCS), a hierarchical structure and a pair comparison questionnaire were developed, and 28 experts were surveyed, and data processing was performed using SPSS WIN VER 21.0 and Microsoft Excel 2016. [Result] According to the results, game safety was the most important in the evaluation area, game situation identification in game preparation, course-specific game progress in game progress, customer service, emergency response in game safety, cart driving in golf carts, putting green sub in golf club sub, and delivery of customer golf goods at the end of the game. In the combined weight of all evaluation items, the highest importance was found in the order of emergency response, economic safety information, and putting green sub. [Conclusion] For the continuous quantitative and qualitative development of golf caddies, the operation of golf caddies training programs and job training based on the results of this study are urgently needed.
