Abstract
This study was conducted to empirically investigate the effect of interpersonal relationships in sports activities on the social adaptation and self-efficacy. For this purpose, disabled people participating in sports activities in Beijing and Tianjin, the central regions of Hebei, China were selected as the study subjects. A survey was conducted focusing on the selected research subjects, and a total of 273 copies were used for the final analysis, excluding insincere responses. For data processing of the questionnaire, the following conclusions were obtained by performing frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. First, in the interpersonal relationship of the disabled in sports activity, a positive correlation was found with social adaptation and self-efficacy in all sub-variables. Second, satisfaction, understanding, openness, and trust of the disabled in sports had a positive effect on sociality and impulsivity. Satisfaction, openness, and trust had a positive effect on adaptability, and openness and trust had a positive effect on accountability. Third, the sense of openness and trust of the disabled in sports activity had a positive effect on the physical ability efficacy, and the feelings of satisfaction, understanding, openness, and trust had a positive effect on the self-expression efficacy.
