Abstract
In this study, fire cases were analyzed for tar and wood vinegar, which are combustion products of wood, and the possibility of fire was confirmed by conducting a reproduction experiment. In particular, the focus was placed on the possibility that the flame of tar generated inside the flue of a firewood boiler could fly away. For the preparation of tar and wood vinegar for the combustion experiment, tar and wood vinegar were collected and used in the experiment while burning oak wood in a charcoal kiln with a height of 0.5 meters. As a result of observing the combustion phenomenon, the temperature outside the flue increased to a maximum of 655℃ 10 minutes after the start of combustion. and As high-temperature heat was supplied, the movement of the fire was confirmed as the heat flow and pressure were radiated inside the flue.
