In other words, Donghak Peasant Revolution is monotonously mentioned as the cause, both directly and indirectly a ccus ed a nd h eld res pons ible w hile t he r elations hip with Donghak Peasant War has usually been ignored as to the war’s development and damage. After the battleground was moved to China, Donghak peasant army had a fierce battle against Japanese army on the Korean Peninsula, playing a role to support Qing at the rear. ‘Outbreak of the Chines e- Japanese War’ was not incurred by Donghak Peasant Revolution to Donghak peasant army but rather the fruit of Donghak Peasant Revolution that they concluded the peace treaty Joseon government and were deprived of progress to experiment Jipgangso (autonomous reform institution established by Donghak peasant army) politics, serving as an opportunity to move forward to Donghak Peasant War.
