Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of major satisfaction and career decision self-efficacy on career preparation behavior, and also to verify the mediating effect of employability. The participants in this study were 214 undergraduate students majoring in Business Administration. the data of 176 students (available response rate: 82.2%) were used in data analysis. 108(61.4%) of the sample were male while 68(38.6%) were female. Data were analyzed using “IBM SPSS Statistics ver.22” for frequency, factor analysis, ANOVA, multiple regression, sobel test. The results of this study include the followings. First, the major satisfaction, the career decision self-efficacy and Employability were positively affected to the career preparation behavior. Second, the major satisfaction, the career decision making self-efficacy were positively affected to employability. Third, the employability fully mediated the relationship between the major satisfaction and the career preparation behavior, and the relationship between the career decision self-efficacy and the career preparation behavior. This study makes a positive contribution to research and enhances awareness about how active student majoring business administration is in preparing a career, therefore increasing chances for achieving career satisfaction.
