The “SanGuoZhi” Culture in China is composed of three works, which include the history book 『SanGuoZhi』, the novel 『SanGuoYanYi』, and folk regends. The important part of the “SanGuoZhi” Culture is the GuanYu Culture. The special present of the GuanYu Culture is the deification of GuanYu. This special present of the GuanYu Culture is caused by many factors, which include the real appearance of GuanYu in the history book 『SanGuoZhi』 and historical factor, the literary character in the the novel 『SanGuoYanYi』, the popular arts and folk regends about GuanYu, the national character of GuanYu, and social atmosphere. We believe that the comprehensive understanding about the special present of the GuanYu Culture will bring us the right direction to understanding of the “GuanYu Culture” and the “SanGuoZhi Culture” in China.
