Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the self-management of sport- for-all participants on their sport emotion and sport confidence. The subjects in this study were 362 people who were selected from among the male and female adult residents in the region of Youngdong, Gangwon Province, who participated in sport for all as of 2014. The selected people kept attending public or private gyms for six months or more, twice or more a week. As for data analysis, a statistical package SPSS WIN 21.0 was employed to make a frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the self-management of the sport-for-all participants were found to have affected their sport emotion. Second, the self-management of the sport-for-all participants were found to have affected their sport confidence This study is of significance in that the findings offered detailed information on the self-management of sport-for-all participants in order for them to foster their athletic performance in an efficient manner. The effort by this study to verify the relationship between sport emotion and sport confidence is expected to provide practical information on how to help sport-for-all participants to make the most out of their sport emotion and sport confidence to produce superb synergy effects.
