Abstract
The purpose of this study is to not only distinguish between typical types of the exhibit layout and types of current trend layouts by using three dimensional design panels but provide design guidelines for various types of exhibit layouts based on the characteristics of three dimensional design panels. After all experiments the following result can be deducted. Ending with the curvature shape of the three dimensional design panel has high ranked satisfaction scores but ending with L-shaped three dimensional design panel has low ranked satisfaction scores. The most efficient orders for the exhibit layout design are starting with a horizontal panel, O-Shaped panel, C-Shaped panel, O-Shaped panel, a horizontal panel, and ending with a curvature shaped panel in order to maximize values of visitor’s experience. Secondly they are starting with a horizontal panel, C-Shaped panel, a curvature shaped panel, O-Shaped panel, a horizontal panel, and ending with a curvature shaped panel. Therefore this research is focused on developing the evaluation of visitor’s satisfaction as well as the coefficient of utilization of cultural facilities for exhibition areas according to efficient types of layouts by using three dimensional design panels.
