Abstract
This study examined the effects of university students` personality type and academic self-efficacy to the scholastic achievement in business administration. The participants in this study were 172 undergraduate students taking management courses. Our hypothesis is that personality type and academic self-efficacy plays an important role in a student understanding of business administration. Subjects of this study were given the MBTI and academic self-efficacy scale questionnaire. The analysis of results has been performed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 for frequency, factor analysis, t-test, multiple regression. The results of this research suggest that the personality type of MBTI do affect the students` academic self-efficacy, and the students` academic self- efficacy do affect the scholastic achievement in business administration, and the personality type of MBTI do affect the scholastic achievement in business administration. The effective learning strategies have to be considered for personality type, academic self-efficacy for better education.
